Kevin M. Keating · 1 year agoI heard about this this morning and thought of you. I'm honestly surprised Netflix took sides so early. I, too, am hoping for some comprehensive (and Mac-able) streaming by year's end. It'd give me a reason to get on board.

Some might say I'm in denial with what I'm about to say next, but my HD DVD player being one third the price of any Blu-ray equivalent makes me feel like I haven't thrown away too much money (it still works as a nice upconvert DVD player). If online/downloadable movies do win over any physical format, I'm glad I picked the cheaper one!
