  • I totally agree about the start up delay problem. I currently have a DVD recorder, which has the same problem. The other feature I want with my Blu-ray player is a NetFlix player. Wheat do you think?
  • I'm not so worried about the Netflix player since now I have that via my Xbox 360. :-) But for the non-gaming world, I think adding Netflix to a Blu-ray player shouldn't be a reason to charge much more.
  • This type of thing always seems to happen to me; I finally get around to getting an HD DVD player and now it becomes totally obsolete. I'm not exactly exited to having to get a blu-ray player especially considering the prices which you have just mentioned. Boo-urns.
  • I was partly skeptical about Blu-ray. However, after getting to see an in-store demo, I can't wait till they become very affordable. I wonder how soon will it become less than US$100 and when will laptops have blu-ray players built-in.
  • Here's hoping in the next year...
  • Blu Ray Players are where it’s at. For all of you who wasted their money already on HD-DVD Players, check out this site Blu Ray Players for Less
