I also am a very big fan of Amazon and am also an Amazon Prime member. I live in NY and never had to pay sales tax until last month when NY cracked down on their sales tax law. I was annoyed that I'd have this added charge but it didn't stop me from buying on Amazon at all. I trust them more than any other online site.

The funny thing is that technically we're supposed to pay sales tax on all online purchases (keep track of it ourselves and include it as part of our yearly taxes)... but does anyone actually do that?

I have also preferred using Amazon. However the drawback is we can't purchase hardware from Amazon in Singapore.
